There’s high value at very low probability to sign the Sam Presti rebuild style multi year minimum contract with only one year guaranteed. Given the trade market reality and the team’s needs, they should be adding a project 5, who they have minutes for.

Oh gee, the Bulls are being cheap? That's news, LOL.

Here's the only thing I will say about "flexibility". We seem to have plenty of forwards but are short on centers and guards. It could be that Graham wants to wait to see which way to go with the last spot. I would say there is a 1% chance this is the case, and 99% they are just being cheap.

So why is it that the Bulls understate the heights of their players? Most teams will be generous with the listed heights and add an inch, but we seem to go the other way. Collins, Smith, Essengue, Buzelis and probably others are all listed on the roster as shorter than their NBA combine measurements.

encouraging rumor from Marc Stein:

"[sauces] The Mavericks may not be able to re-sign Moussa Cisse if they opt to waive him and keep Dwight Powell on the roster...the Bulls have interest in Cisse if he becomes available"

Cisse is...tall. And just turned 24.

nevermind, Mavs waiving Powell. I guess we could sign him ha

It would be helpful if you'd identify the player the Bulls should sign, or even the position and attributes of the type of player. You said "There is no possible reason not to want to" ... (fill the 15th roster spot). Maybe they want to, but haven't been able to come to terms with the one(s) they want. Another PG is an obvious need. Dillingham is available, but it would probably be viewed as a bad move.

I'm commenting on KC's report that "the plan" is to keep it open.
