Earlier this year I was mocked for continuously berating Bulls management for letting Javonte Green go.. Although one game doesn’t prove anything I feel totally vindicated
The Bulls had more turnovers last night then three point attempts. That's a recipe for success if I've ever seen one.
Also can't help but get a little excited whenever Orlando absolutely destroys us. We traded WCJ for Vooch signaling we were going all in while they decided to rebuild. Instead they're already better than the Voochy Bulls have ever been. Great work, AK.
So, these Billy Donovan rumors seem like they might carry some significant weight if ESPN is saying Kentucky is going to make Billy have to say no.
They can probably offer him more than he's currently being paid and he'd get the chance to coach for a serious team again. Not to mention, he's clearly a better college coach than NBA coach. I don't see why he'd say no.
If Billy leaves does AK stick to the master plan of mediocrity? If Billy leaves does DeMar stay?
Obviously I'm getting way too excited about this possibility, but I'd love to see Billy leave and then that cause a domino effect of destruction for this team. 😂
I was thinking of another post for today's game but don't have much to say. And it's the same opponent! And same situation where Bulls are facing 5 games below .500 , and want to give the paying customers a fun night out, so they'll play well. hmm...they'll win the game, not necessarily play well
Normally that would 100% vindicate YFBB's "not a serious player" take but I feel like it is 100% on Craig. One of the dumbest sequences I have ever seen.
I think it's probably on both of them to an extent. It was an incredibly dumb play by Craig, no doubt. Seeing as he was billed as a serious win-first guy coming into the season, it makes that play even worse.
I'm willing to give Drummond a little more leeway since we kind of expect him to make a bone headed play or two every game. But Craig threw the ball from pretty far back and Drummond had plenty of time to realize Craig was going up for it. Craig even jumped before Drummond. To me, Drummond saw Craig throw the ball up, assumed it was for him, and all other thinking went out the window.
If I were Billy, I'd be more upset at Craig because I expect more from him in terms of basketball IQ than I do from Drummond. But it was still a bad play for both of those guys regardless.
The angle from the backboard of Craig's face when he feels Drummond behind him is absolutely hilarious. His eyes are like WTF. Also Coby.
It was totally a dumbass play on Craig's part. Why are you self dunking in the 2nd quarter of a game you are down almost double digits? And I mean yeah Craig jumped first but Drummond was already in motion, there was no way for him to stop.
Stupid play by both guys but yeah I def put most of that on Craig.
Not to go all old school, but if your center pokes the ball away and creates a turnover and then runs the whole length of the floor on the fast break, you feed the man. Even if he tried to dunk on Craig to punish him for basketball crimes, I still think it was justified.
Why does Javonte Green have 21 and 12 already lol
Not that impressive since it's really just 4.2 and 2.4 because there's 5 Javonte's out there.
Revenge for getting kicked in the head. WTF
Dang I see Coby only played 13 minutes before suffering an ankle injury
I'm more upset I forgot to bet, this was always a guaranteed win as long as DeMar 'the competitive floor' DeRozan played.

I will happily admit my fears of Javonte having possibly lost some athleticism after his surgery last season couldn't have been any more wrong.

That shaqtin sequence with Craig and Drummond might've been the catalyst to Billy's decision to finally go to Kentucky.

Easily one of the funniest basketball photos I have ever seen.
Totally. I paused it there and laughed my ass off.

I completely agree that you feed the big man if he runs the floor. I was more just saying it was a bone headed play from both.
