Cavalry! Calvary is a hill; cavalry are the mounted soldiers.
More on topic, I sort of have to hand it to Billy for this new excuse for why the Bulls aren't winning. And it's not because I think it's insightful or reflects a truth that hasn't been uncovered before, more like I admire the audacity of suggesting it publicly and expecting people to believe it.
Like, my four-year-old would say that he doesn't have to wash his hands when he pees because he doesn't touch his penis. I can follow the line of thinking, but it immediately raises bigger questions. Same for the Bulls: if you genuinely believe that the team is being thrown off by players returning from injury, then isn't the problem actually your rotations, the players sucking, or the system sucking?
Ayo injury update, it's grim. I'd say 'rest up, none of this matters' but he's in a contract year

>Ayo Dosunmu said he has two sprained thumbs and a bone bruise in right thumb. Has both thumbs taped. Said left thumb is worse than right thumb. Only way to fully let both heal is rest. He has missed two games and is hopeful to play tomorrow.
We have reached the part of the program where Vucevic is wondering what the hell he's still doing here...of course he then played a team-high 31 minutes last night despite sucking https://www.chicagotribune.com/2025/12/14/chicago-bulls-nikola-vucevic-starting-job/
It's on Vuc to be the only sensible one and either demand a trade or retire
Billy will play him, AK will want him played and doesn't try to replace him (Zach Collins?), forever and the face of all evidence that Vuc is washed
This more or less makes me sympathetic to Vuc. He's basically admitting what everyone knows and being honest about it.
I just love that even his wife is like "Wtf are you still on this team?"

try to give him a low $ contract extension now and he can rest?
The Bulls are in a tie for the play-in ! Ah, sorry they don't play in the western conference 😅
they're going to sneak into the play-in only if Bucks trade Giannis. if he stays, the bulls thankfully won't make it in
Bulls PR is getting desperate
