It’s been five years since Denzel Valentine, Jerian Grant, NBA champion Bobby Portis, $52 million man Cristiano Felício and friends won the prestigious NBA Summer League Championship.
We now know the road the 2021 iteration of the Bulls Summer League roster will need to take to bring that championship back to Chicago.

The SummerBulls roster is expected to include Patrick Williams, 2021 draftee Ayo Dosunmu, Undrafted free-agent Ethan Thompson, and perhaps 2020 2nd round stashee Marko Simonović.

Before we get to see the young Bulls hopefully tear it up in the NBA Summer League, hopefully an active summer in free agency for the Bulls starts on Monday.
With the draft concluding last night, the next important dates are option/guarantee decisions:
7/31 - Ryan Arcidiacono team option deadline
8/1 - Qualifying offer deadline for Lauri Markannen, Javonte Green, Adam Mokoka, Devon Dotson, AND guarantee (versus release with partial guarantee) decision date for Thad Young and Tomas Satoransky.
We’ve got lots of basketball coming up and here’s to the Chicago Bulls finally turning a corner during the 2021-2022 season.
