The trade deadline was a snoozer for the Bulls, who stood pat and didn’t make a single trade.

Thaddeus Young and Denzel Valentine were the two Bulls most likely to be dealt, but nothing came to fruition. The Clippers reportedly had interest in Young, but they focused on acquiring Marcus Morris and wound up getting their man.

Valentine reportedly had interest from the 76ers and Grizzlies. Philly acquired Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III from the Warriors, while the Grizzlies were involved in the Andre Iguodala madness with the Heat, with the Timberwolves also getting involved.

John Paxson will speak before tonight’s Pelicans game.
