After shifting the NBA calendar five months, the NBA draft is finally tonight.

A lot has happened for the Bulls since their season was prematurely ended. There’s a new front office in charge of making these picks for the first time since the 2003 draft. Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley have been reportedly very tight-lipped throughout this process, but we will see the rewards of their efforts tonight.

After moving up in the lottery, the Bulls will pick 4th overall in the first round.

In the 2nd round, they’ll be picking 44th, in the slot from the Memphis Grizzlies acquired in the Justin Holiday trade at the 2019 trade deadline. The Bulls own second rounder was sent to Washington last summer as part of the Tomas Satoransky acquisition.

Of course, there’s the possibility of a trade, especially with a new front office having no discretion towards guys on the roster that were from the deposed regime. Could move up using assets for a guy they really want to target, or down to acquire more future assets. For the first time in a long while, we shouldn’t be cynically predicting the same old Bulls moves.

Use this thread for all talk on the Bulls and the entire league. With the draft so close to Free Agency on Friday, it may be an especially transaction-heavy night.
