Bulls VS Cavaliers game preview, injury report, lineups

Saturday night suckfest

The Bulls began their latest of many stretches without Lauri Markkannen by scoring a paltry 81 points against the Kings.

They have a game a night later, tonight (!), in Cleveland against a truly bad Cavaliers team. The Cavs, who at least hired a college coach who was successful there, still looks to have hired a VERY college coach. Since the slugs-gate, the Cavs won two...but then dropped the last six. Including one last weekend in Chicago where, actually, I don’t recall off-hand what happened. I think LaVine scored a lot of points.

The Bulls rotation is truly grim with lots of Thaddeus Young, Luke Kornet, Christiano Felicio, and Chandler Hutchison minutes. Shaq Harrison joined them in the wake of the Lauri injury yesterday.

For the Cavs, no new injuries outside of a Brandon Knight knee thing, and Ante Zizic has been out for over a week due to some illness.

The Bulls have bumslayed, but that was with Markkanen. Even with Lauri having a bad season he was still a threat, and without that one of the league’s worst offensive ‘systems’ will struggle further.
