Bulls vs. Raptors game preview, injury report, lineups

Bulls can steal the ball but not steal wins what’s up with that

NBA: Toronto Raptors at Chicago Bulls Quinn Harris-USA TODAY Sports

A pretty brutal back-to-back for the Bulls concludes tonight, as they host the Raptors less than 24 hours after their latest (moral) victory, an overtime loss in Miami.

The Raptors also played last night, losing in Philadelphia. They have also recently lost an overtime game to Jimmy and his Butlers, and after winning seven in a row are riding a three game losing streak into Chicago. Playing the Boylen boys is reason enough for them not to panic, but I do think there is potential here for a flat performance by the Raptors: their next game is the much-anticipated welcome back of Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard.

Injury Report:

Otto Porter has 1 foot until proven otherwise. Chandler ‘crutch’ Hutchison is still out with his shoulder injury.

For Toronto, some of their deep bench is out (Stanley Johnson, Patrick McCaw) and more importantly Fred VanVleet (shout-out to Rockford) is questionable with a knee injury.

Last time:

Who can even remember way back to October 26th, when the Raptors handled the Bulls pretty easily. I think it may be notable in that it was a pretty straightforward throttling instead of some choke job.

Game info:

7pm start, televised on NBC Sports Chicago.
