It’s been five full days since the Bulls last played, Christmas has came and went, and the Bulls are back home in Chicago for this one. Their opponent is terrible, on a back-to-back, and missing their best player. That’s typically a trap, but likely not tonight.
Chicago Bulls (12-20) vs. Atlanta Hawks (6-26)
NBC Sports Chicago, 7:00 p.m.
Injury Report:
Lauri Markkanen is listed as questionable with an illness. Per Shams Charania, Otto Porter Jr. is expected to return after the All-Star Break.
It wouldn’t be a Bulls game without the opponent’s star sitting out. Trae Young is out with a right ankle sprain. Here is the rest of the Hawks lengthy injury report.
Hawks injury report for tonight’s game in Chicago:
— Brad Rowland (@BTRowland) December 28, 2019
Evan Turner (right hamstring strain) is probable.
Alex Len (left ankle sprain) is questionable.
Jabari Parker (right shoulder impingement) is questionable.
Trae Young (right ankle sprain) is out.
The Bulls have already beaten the Hawks twice this season and with Young out this needs to be a win tonight.
