Chicago Bulls Free Agency Rumors clearing house

the new contracts are here!

NBA: Brooklyn Nets at Chicago Bulls Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

The official start to NBA free agency is tonight at 11 p.m. Players can begin meeting with teams to discuss terms on potential contracts. No official contracts are signed for another week, but they’re all agreed to.

Like how Cristiano Felicio received a 4-year pact minutes into free agency last year, how did they come up with those terms so quickly?!??!

The Bulls key free agent this year is Zach LaVine, who is restricted so the Bulls can match an offer. The Bulls reportedly will make an offer but it’s expected to be rejected by LaVine as he searches out for a better one.

Other Bulls free agents include David Nwaba (restricted) and Noah Vonleh (unrestricted).

The Bulls are going to be one of the few teams with meaningful cap room, so expect a lot of rumors. It should be another crazy summer around the league, with LeBron James and Paul George potentially switching teams and Kawhi Leonard perhaps on the trade block. But the Bulls are on a path, and a timeline, or whatever. So perhaps they’ll get an asset as a cap space dumping ground, or do very little in the sake of flexibility.

But discuss all rumors, whether it’s NBA or whatever league the Bulls are in, here!
