Chicago Bulls (5-18) at Houston Rockets (10-11)
7 p.m., NBC Sports Chicago
Injury Report:
For the Rockets, Nene will make his season debut tonight after missing the first 21 games with a calf injury.
The Bulls will clear both Bobby Portis and Kris Dunn for contact next week. But let’s not bury the lead....
Chicago's Lauri Markkanen is expected to make his season debut tonight in Houston. He is listed "probable" to return to the Bulls lineup against Rockets after suffering a sprained right elbow in training camp.

This is fantastic news for the Chicago Bulls and really makes the game tonight much more watchable and exciting than it otherwise would have been. As Mark Karantzoulis eloquently outlined, don’t expect Markkanen’s return to suddenly turn the Bulls into playoff contenders. Just enjoy the fact that he’s back healthy wearing a Bulls uniform and that tonight is the beginning of the Wendell Carter Jr./Lauri Markkanen era.
