After their 112-73 win over the Brooklyn Nets in the season finale, the Chicago Bulls have clinched a spot in the NBA playoffs. With a record of 41-41, Chicago is slotted in the 8th seed and will face the number one seed Boston Celtics, who clinched the top seed with a 112-94 win against the Milwaukee Bucks.
This will surely be an interesting series as Chicago has had some success against Boston this season, going 2-1 in competitive games but getting blown out in Boston in their their most recent matchup.
But Chicago has to be ready for Game 1 on Sunday when the two teams tip-off at 5:30 PM (CT) on TNT (reminder, no #TNTBulls magic for the playoffs, sadly). Here is the rest of the season series, as reported by NBA.com.
Game 1 – Sun. April 16 Chicago at Boston, 5:30 p.m., TNT
Game 2 – Tue. April 18 Chicago at Boston, 7 p.m., TNT
Game 3 – Fri. April 21 Boston at Chicago, 6 p.m., ESPN
Game 4 – Sun. April 23 Boston at Chicago, 5:30 p.m., TNT
Game 5 * Wed. April 26 Chicago at Boston, TBD
Game 6 * Fri. April 28 Boston at Chicago, TBD
Game 7 * Sun. April 30 Chicago at Boston, TBD
If things go the same way they did the last time these two teams met in the playoffs, we are in for another great series.
Give your predictions in the comments and let’s get ready for at least four more games of Bulls basketball!
