The Bulls are in Detroit tonight facing off against the 8th seeded Pistons. The Pistons are only a game behind the Bulls after demolishing Philly 136-106 on Saturday. Even though a Pistons win tonight won't cause any shifting in the seeding, it won't be helpful for the Bulls' playoff hopes. Since this game is not nationally televised and actually means something in terms of the Bulls' conference standings, we should fully expect the Bulls to lose. The last time these teams played each other the Bulls blew out the Pistons 113-82 on December 19.

In what should have been expected, the Bulls disappointed on Saturday after a nice win over the Warriors on TNT Thursday night. Jamal Crawford scored 17 of his 25 points in the second half of Saturday's game and pretty much got whatever he wanted in the 4th. That fourth quarter really highlighted how poor the Bulls' team defense is late in games, as well as how far Zipser has to go as an individual defender (although Freddy could have helped him out). Anyway, Zipser gets the start tonight with Wade out, and it's probably the right decision.
