NBA Draft rumors: Bulls 'zeroing in' on Wade Baldwin

Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports

From Sean Deveney of The Sporting News:

The Bulls are hoping Baldwin will land here after they traded away point guard Derrick Rose, a source told Sporting News. Baldwin is the kind of player who shines more in predraft workouts than he did in college, and he's had the corresponding jump in his stock as a result.

The Bulls have so many holes that they shouldn't really be 'zeroing in' on anybody, but Baldwin makes sense. He's an athlete, and is the type of point guard (defense and shooting at the possible expense of playmaking) that fits next to Jimmy Butler.

We had much more on Baldwin earlier this month

Wade Baldwin would be a great fit for the Bulls. In a league that values length and shooting, he looks like a great fit for a lot of teams. It now seems like there's a decent chance he gets picked before No. 14. If he's still on the board for the Bulls selection, it would be hard to pass on him.

and even selected him on SBNation's mock draft.
