Just in case you thought the Bulls wouldn't be making front office moves in the wake of this disastrous season, take this!
The Chicago Bulls announced today that Horace Grant has been named Special Advisor to President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Reinsdorf.
Grant joins Scottie Pippen and Toni Kukoc as Special Advisors to the President & COO. His new role begins in October 2016.
This is the kind of ambitious strategy befitting of Hall-of-Fame ownership.
I've done the work of updating the Org. Chart under Michael Reinsdorf.
This indeed some good ol' Reinsdorfing. If there's anything that the chairman likes more than winning negotiations, it's settling old scores. He and Horace certainly had a feud.
Jerry Reinsdorf yesterday on Grant: "I finally forgave him. He and I shook hands on a contract and then he denied it. Time heals all wounds"— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) April 6, 2016
Kind of a peen thing to say, but...now it's all family again, and that's what it's all about!
