Watch the best game in Doug McDermott's career

The Bulls need their role players to have big nights for them to have a chance (especially with the defense giving up 105 every game), and Friday night against the Toronto Raptors it was Doug McDermott coming through.

McDermott had a career-high 30 points, 14 of which came in the 4th quarter, as the Bulls got a much needed win and kept up their dominance over Toronto.

Doug after the game:

"It feels like it was a long time coming (a game like this)," McDermott acknowledged "There have been a lot of ups and downs so far. I just stayed with it. Obviously, just one game, so I'm not going to get too high on myself. It's definitely a good start for my confidence; it's great that we were really unselfish."

Indeed unselfish, as 11 of McDermott's 13 baskets were assisted. 5 came from Pau Gasol, and then surprisingly followed by 3 from Christiano Felicio, 2 from Aaron Brooks and one from Derrick Rose. McDermott had 1 assist to his own name in his 30 minutes of action.

There is also mention of a pre-game pep talk between Doug and his coach Fred Hoiberg, as McDermott had an especially bad game the night prior in Cleveland.

And since I didn't see the game, no bad defense Vines. Everything is coming up McBuckets!
