It's officially official. Bulls head coaching decisions have fallen apart at the 11th hour before, but I don't think it's happened after a press conference has been called. That's what the Bulls have just done, releasing a statement that there will be a presser at 2pm Tuesday with a major announcement. That announcement is very very likely naming Iowa State Head Coach (and former Bull, and Gar Forman's long-time pal) Fred Hoiberg as the next Bulls head coach.

Yes, this long exhaustive coaching search that took the Bulls from Chicago to Ames and, uh, back to Chicago is now completed. Actually, not sure they even did that, as Hoiberg came to them on Monday afternoon. And in the time since, the protracted negotiations have concluded.
