A few nights ago, it was revealed by Derrick Rose's ex-girlfriend (maybe not ex anymore?) on Instagram that he was going to come back against the Magic on Wednesday. And what do you know, it looks like Rose will indeed be back tonight:

As expected, Rose will be on a minutes restriction (20 minutes), although that gives him a better chance of playing on Thursday night against Miami:
Thibodeau even said because of low minutes, Rose can do back to back and play in Miami.— K.C. Johnson (@KCJHoop) April 8, 2015
Rose underwent surgery on his torn right meniscus on Feb. 27 and was ruled out four-to-six weeks. While Rose never explicitly said he was coming back this season (Who knows?), the belief all along was that he'd be back, and the return on Wednesday puts him just a few days shy of that six-week mark.
Rose will have five regular-season games to get himself reintegrated back into the lineup before the playoffs start. Per usual, expect inconsistency, and we just have to hope that he can get back into a groove quickly for a possible playoff run.
