Derrick Rose didn't get off to the best start in his first playoff game since 2012, but he turned it up as the game went along, and he even started knocking down three-point shots in the third quarter. Rose finished with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting, and he also added seven assists in a 103-91 Bulls victory.
Jimmy Butler led the way with 25 points, shooting 8-of-14 from the field and also dropping six assists. The Rose-Butler duo was stupendous pretty much all game, and the Bucks proved no match for them. The Bulls' defense was questionable at times, but the Bucks shot under 40 percent for the game, and that'll probably be a theme for the series.
The Bucks have a group of talented young players, but they can't consistently score, and the Bulls have way more offensive weapons. If Rose and Butler are going to produce like they did tonight, it's going to be a very short series.
Longer recap later.
