Jimmy Butler was tabbed for the Team USA Select squad that's set to train with the national team from July 28-31 in Las Vegas ahead of the FIBA World Cup . On Sunday night, Butler pulled out of the camp with a "slightly strained groin", according to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

There will still be a heavy Bulls presence with Team USA. Derrick Rose is trying out for the national team, for which Tom Thibodeau is an assistant coach. Doug McDermott was also picked to participate with the Select team.
The FIBA World Cup runs from Aug.30 to September 14. Team USA will be a part of Group C along with Finland, New Zealand, Dominican Republic, Turkey and Ukraine. The top four teams in each group will qualify for the elimination-style tournament, which will be held in Spain.
