Bulls vs. Lakers final score: Christmas day victory

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

The Bulls pulled away from the Lakers in the 4th quarter to get another big-scoring, big-margin victory, 113-93.

Derrick Rose both started and capped the game with a scoring flurry, going for 20 points on 7-14 shooting. Jimmy Butler ended his bad-shooting game streak at one, with another hyper-efficient 21 points of his own.

The storyline from the Bulls perspective was seeing Carlos Boozer return, and he received his share of 'Booz' (ok, it was 'boo's) and had a decent-enough Boozy night. But Pau Gasol, who was also facing his former team, had the much better game, finishing with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

It was just the Lakers, and they're bad with or without Kobe Bryant (who was not playing in this game), but it'll be good to see more of this level of opponent coming down this next stretch of games, after their uber-impressive streak lately.

Merry Christmas, BlogABull.
