Bulls vs. Wizards game preview: Kirk Hinrich out with hamstring strain

Bulls have a quick turnaround after their big win on Monday: a 6pm start in Washington against the Wiz.

They'll be without Kirk Hinrich, who hurt his hamstring in the game, likely forcing Thibs to go with an offensive lineup of mass destruction down the stretch.

Will he do so again for more time tonight? He'll probably have to, at least for a bit. Hinrich was playing nearly 28 minutes a freaking game, so while it's nice to not see his face those minutes have to go somewhere. Aaron Brooks will see an uptick of course, and E'Twaun Moore moves up to the emergency PG spot.

We'll have to see who takes the backup-SG minutes that Hinrich astoundingly was taking so much of. I suppose a lot depends on if the Wizards use any 2 PG lineups with Andre Miller alongside John Wall, but I don't think they do that too often. They have a pretty entrenched normal-sized 2 in Bradley Beal, which makes it tough to see the Bulls countering with Brooks. Brooks may have trouble with Miller too, as DJ Augustin did in last year's playoffs, but here' hoping Brooks hits enough shots to make himself a net positive like Monday against Lou Williams.

(for crunch time, could just see Butler on Beal, and more Mike Dunleavy minutes as he can stay with Paul Pierce enough)

What may ultimately happen is another chance for Tony Snell, one of the few under-performing Bulls this season.
