The Bulls are back at their preseason schedule, playing tonight in
United Center North Milwaukee.
Both Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah are slated to participate, but starting SG/SF (really, not sure) Mike Dunleavy is out.
"I'm OK, just a little preseason bump in the road," Dunleavy said after Saturday's shootaround. "Just a little soreness in my left knee. I'm not too concerned about it, but we'll see how it goes."
The speculation is that Doug McDermott will start in Dunleavy's place, though if that was the case why not have him first off the bench in the other games? But if indeed McDermott gets time with the starters tonight, that'll be interesting. So far he hasn't been that impressive as an offensive focal point but in a lineup with other threats he could thrive.
As for Dunleavy, he surprisingly played all 82 games last season but historically has dealt with injuries, in the knees especially, in the past.
