[Note by your friendly BullsBlogger, 03/27/13 6:21 PM CDT: From warmups, everyone doubtful is out:
Noah, Belinelli out vs. Heat.— K.C Johnson (@KCJHoop) March 27, 2013
So let's get this out of the way first. Despite Waka Flocka Flame's assertion that Derrick Rose was returning against the Heat tonight, K.C. Johnson says that ain't happenin'. Not surprising in the slightest. But if you want your Rose fix, go watch Rose play 1-on-1 against bums! (I'll pass)
As for the guys who actually had a serious chance of playing tonight, Joakim Noah (plantar fasciitis) is a "true" game-time decision and Marco Belinelli (abdominal strain) is likely out. Thibs is calling Belinelli a game-time decision, but he didn't do much at shootaround, which usually signifies that a player is out.
I would expect Noah to play, although I certainly wouldn't have a problem with him sitting. I'd rather him be healthy for a potential playoff series against the Heat than push to play in a regular season game against them. Although this regular season game does mean a bit more considering the Heat's 27-game winning streak is on the line.
If Noah plays, I actually think the Bulls will somehow win this game. I don't know why, but I have a weird feeling about it, even with the Heat rolling. If Noah doesn't play, well, I could see it getting really ugly unless Nate Robinson puts up 40.
