There's been no real movement from the Bulls since free agency officially began.
There were rumors that the Bulls were still looking to trade Kyle Korver before his contract became guaranteed on Sunday. The Hawks were mentioned as a destination, then the Blazers/Timberwolves as part of their potential deal for Nicolas Batum, but now even that appears dead (ht: BlazersEdge):
The Minnesota Timberwolves plan to amnesty center Darko Milicic in order to give an offer sheet to Portland Trail Blazers restricted free agent Nicolas Batum, a league source says.
The Timberwolves were in talks to trade for Batum, offering two first-round picks and acquiring Kyle Korver from the Bulls in exchange for a second-round pick, a league source said. But the teams were not able to agree to a trade.
KC Johnson reported that the Bulls 'inquired' on Luke Ridnour in those talks, which makes no sense, but OK. Most likely they're just looking to get something for Korver, even a trade exception, plus avoid the $500k buyout of his 2012-13 contract. This is technically better than just cutting him.

Omer Asik still hasn't received his reported offer sheet from Houston. They have enough on their plate first getting the Kyle Lowry and Marcus Camby deals done. Supposedly their chase of Dwight Howard has no impact, however. Once the offer is officially made, the Bulls will have 3 days to match. They really can't do anything but wait, as since Houston's under the cap they can offer a better contract to Asik than the Bulls. I have no idea in figuring whether the Bulls will match or not. I think they're in a bad spot either way. Woj just tweeted something ominous about the Bulls considering Asik but being 'worried' later about Taj. And I thought nothing ever leaks out of there!
- Bulls target Gerald Green is going to the Pacers on a 3-year, $10m deal. This is higher than the veterans minimum.
