I'm not saying the Bulls are waiting until this day to announce Derrick Rose lost a testicle in that car accident in March, but I am insinuating it for comedic potential:
The Bulls will begin selling tickets for the first two rounds of the 2012 NBA playoffs on Friday, April 13 at 11 a.m., according to a statement released by the team.
Tickets can be purchased at Bulls.com, 1-800-4NBA-TIX, the United Center and Ticketmaster.
A total of eight possible home games will go on sale, four in the first round and four in the second round.
Other off-court stuff with the Bulls:
- If you're like me, and a slave to your DirecTV DVR, this spat between the satellite provider and Tribune-owned stations (WGN in Chicago) is troublesome. Remaining Bulls games on WGN are 4/10 (Knicks), 4/15 (@Pistons), and 4/21 (Mavs)
- Speaking of the telecast, WSCR's Dan Bernstein takes Stacey King to task for starting to shoehorn in more catchphrases than ever, possibly because of marketing opportunity, a sentiment I'm definitely agreeing with more and more.
- This is a week old, but Raptorblog took up the cause against their team's version of the 100pt Big Macs. At least the Bulls have to win the game for their promotion, though you could say the times where the home crowd boos a loss is worse than when Raps fans cheer when their stinky team at least got them food.
