As we wait for today's game preview (and good news on that front: Warriors played last night in NY), a look around what's popped up on the sidebar the last day or so:
- A modest proposal to look into acquiring Marcus Thornton, who's racking up DNPs in New Orleans after a surprisingly excellent rookie season. Bulls could take in his meager salary without sending any out, so the price would likely be a first-rounder. I'd say only if the Bulls have already soured on CJ Watson, who I think is just playing poorly and is not a fundamentally bad fit.
-
Joakim Noah continues to be awesome, and basically calls Kevin Garnett the jerk he is. And, he is. Really.
- We're starting 'Around the NBA' threads on off nights, and last night's performance by John Wall lead to the inevitable Rose vs. Wall debate. It's alright not to be personally offended by the comparison. No, really: Wall looks very good. Rose is good too.
- According to Basketball Value's adjusted +/-, the Bulls starting lineup has been pretty excellent so far this season.

Former Bulls Quintin Dailey died.
As always, check those sidebars. Always good stuff that the people get to before I do.
