You should probably read John Hollinger's extensive scouting report on the Bulls. Then, you should probably read the ones he did for every other team in the league. (I've finished the Pacific division now. And I need a nap. Reading is hard, hard work.)
The jist: Hollinger thinks Chicago could be the best defensive team in the league but also in the bottom 10 on offense. He thinks giving J.R. Smith up for scraps was a mistake. He thinks the team is a year away from contending for the Eastern crown.
I hate to play favorites (and seriously - dude said the Kings might not make it to .500, I'm a bit upset), but John Hollinger is clearly the most knowledge hoops analyst working for ESPN, right?
