Paxson - Isiah III?

Can Isiah bail-out Paxson for the third time?  I think Zeke has it in him.  I want to believe.

This kind of deal might barely cause a ripple after the blockbusters we've seen lately -- and two sources close to the situation insist that it probably won't happen -- but New York and Chicago have apparently discussed a trade that would send Ben Wallace to the Knicks for Quentin Richardson, Malik Rose and Fred Jones.

NY needs interior defense
And Wallace is good at um... not getting pushed out of the lane and not getting into foul trouble!

Wallace could play point forward, too
Because he's small.  Imagine that front court.  Wallace running the 3, Z-Bozo at the 4, and EaZzzy-E at the 5.  You know Zeke is salivating at all the match-up possibilities.

If Wallace likes playing
with Aaron Gray, he would love playing next to big soft Eddy Curry.  At least Eddy, Zach, and Jamal won't bother passing him the ball, so Ben won't be constantly embarrassed on offense.

heh
The Knicks were always the most logical destination (bad GM, lots of big contracts), but I remember reading that after the Curry trade that Pax and Isiah were on very bad terms.

Although I guess if it works for the teams you can put the professional animosity aside. Or something.

Pax and Isiah seem almost
like ying and yang. Totally opposite and yet inextricably bound by fate to work together.
