PLAYOFF Game Thread: Bulls vs. Pistons Game 3

Just show me something, Bulls. There's only so many ways to post 'gawd damn they stink'.

The margins of defeat have been so bad that home court alone won't make up for it. They have to play a LOT better as a team, and if the core guys don't play well it won't really matter what Skiles does in panic mode after an early deficit.

I don't believe much in a game changing the 'momentum' of a series, so winning tonight may not mean much. But it's far better than the alternative.

I have
no idea what to think of tonights game. Hopefully they come out ready to play in the first ten minutes.

They just said that Ben W. just arrived at the UC at 6:45. He's an hour and a half late by league standards. What the hell is up with that?

GO BULLS!!!

If the Bulls lose this game tonight it won't be the end of the world but you'll be able to see it from here.

Remember
The last time Ben acted out, the team pulled itself out of a losing streak because the drama "focused" the team (or so Ben says).

Then I
hope they get the same results.

Now they
say he was only 15 minutes. Traffic maybe.

perhaps...
...a little pre-game trim...   :-)

by Bluelou on May 10, 2007 7:31 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

As if tonight's not stressful enough
we get Stephen A. in the pre-game?

Although listening to Zo try to explain how Miami got swept by the team that is getting swept almost makes up for that!

Anyone know who's doing the game? Hubie or Walton? I'll be really disappointed if it's Walton.

by nas on May 10, 2007 7:21 PM CDT   0 recs

I'll be really disappointed if it's Walton.
Walton and Collins have no business being in this business...   :-)

While we're at it, Reggie Miller is terrible as well.  Jeez.

by paxson43 on May 10, 2007 7:58 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

meh
Anything is better than Jon Barry. Walton has his moments, and most them are awful and annoying, but there's a good blasting of a player every once in a while.

Anything is better than Jon Barry
...okay...I'll give ya that one.
But BW is SUCH a goober...he even talks through his nostrils...

by Bluelou on May 10, 2007 7:28 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Man, I'm not sure I could handle Stephen A.
and Bill Walton on the same game.  Although then the Bulls would have to play great, right?  Because surely 3 bad things can't happen on the same night, right?

It's my birthday, and I turned down all sorts of options to sit at home and watch the Bulls - they can't disappoint me!

They have to play a LOT better as a team
...I finally got my laptop set up wireless so I can watch da game AND write stuff here...
So DA Bulls will pull this one out - 'cuz I say so dammit!

by Bluelou on May 10, 2007 7:22 PM CDT   0 recs

What the hell is wrong with Wallace?
What did he have to do that was so important that he couldn't make it on time? Do his hair?

by miserabull on May 10, 2007 7:31 PM CDT   0 recs

Pistons
play even better on the road, while the Bulls usually fade in must-win situations (New Jersey). Yea... it's gonna be ugly.

by vlad001 on May 10, 2007 7:58 PM CDT   0 recs

Have
they even done a Bulls game this year? I remember Barry, Walton, and Brown, but not Jackson.

Could be worse.

by Bluelou on May 10, 2007 8:09 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

1-9
shooting now. Cmon Bulls make a shot.

by SRQman on May 10, 2007 8:13 PM CDT   0 recs

BG being aggressive?
Sounds like he's trying to take it to the hole tonight.  Good good thing.

Are the missed shots heavily contested or are the Bulls just off target right now?

by paxson43 on May 10, 2007 8:17 PM CDT   0 recs

Yes he is
He needs to keep it going.

by SRQman on May 10, 2007 8:19 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

are the Bulls just off target
pretty much...but they're gettin' it goin' with TYRUS....yesssss!

by Bluelou on May 10, 2007 8:20 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

TT
is officially in the game

by SRQman on May 10, 2007 8:20 PM CDT   0 recs

And the rebound
It's just a rebound, of course, but it was in traffic and certainly spectacular.

Ty-Rise, anyone?

Nocioni
can not leave Chicago fast enough. I feel like I'm channeling PaxJax right now. He's not nearly as good an offensive player as he thinks he is.

I'd rather have
Either BG or Hinrich taking that shot. I guess this series has just made me bitter about his bricklaying.

How loud it is when it swishes the net or hits the rim. Do they have a mic there? My dad and I always wonder while at games or watching on T.V.
