SBNation Readers choice award: Most Improved player

Explanation of the awards are here. This is the thread for Most Improved Player.

In case you didn't know, league guidelines say you shouldn't use this award to award 'injury comebacks'. And watch out for a big boost in minutes! Eddy Curry didn't improve much this year!

Remember, pick top-3!

I recall Martin tearing up
the Bulls last season. Sorry, Tom "Green Bay West" Ziller.

Yea
I think there were only glimpses last year. Actually, towards the end of the season. This year he was much better. Especially having to deal with the egos of Artest and Bibby. I give the kid credit for being able to do his job better.

Yeah... I don't really care
It's a pure homer vote on my part.

I know its weird but arenas went from a top 20 player to an arguably top 5 player....thats a huge jump in terms fo talent jumping.....if i had to pick players for a life or death pickup game...gilbert would be hard tpo pass up for anyone besides kobe or snash

Trés
  1. Iguodala
  2. Deng
  3. Tyson Chandler
I kind of feel like both Andre and Luol haven't been in the league long enough to be "most improved", but they both made such huge leaps this year, I gotta give it up to them (even though I think they are both far from their ceilings).

Tyson, wish you could have done this last year, my man...

Most Improved
  1. Monta Ellis
  2. Deng
  3. Al Jefferson (he sucked and now he's a 20-10 guy.. you wouldn't know it by watching him when he's being dominated by big ben, and TT owned him on several dunks in that St Patricks day game, but still)

by fundamentallysound on Apr 23, 2007 7:43 PM CDT reply actions

He doesn't even
average that per 40.
