First impressions

  1. Lu really does look like he bulked up
  2. Thabo's cornrows freak me out a bit
  3. Andres looks like he just got out of the shower
  4. Victor does not look like a basketball player at all
  5. Joe Smith looks really good in a Bulls jersey
  6. Noah ... well, just looks like Noah
  7. And of course, the headband

If anything it's a nice way to find 'true' heights
Relatively, anyway. For one, Tyrus looks at an inch taller than Ben Wallace.

by your friendly BullsBlogger on Oct 2, 2007 11:06 AM CDT reply actions

It also works for Gordon and Hinrich
You can visually see that there is only the 1 inch difference in their heights.  I was surprised how similar they were in size, now that Kirk has bulked up some.

I noticed in rewatching a Bulls/Miami game that Tyrus is also clearly taller than Deng as well.

I would
have really liked to see Joakim's height compared to someone like Wallace or Thomas

by Option27 on Oct 2, 2007 11:46 AM CDT up reply actions

Last year
I remember the news coming out of Florida that despite the fact that Joakim was listed at 6-11, he was actually a legit 7-0, but didn't want his height listed as such because 7-footers are "freaks."

Veektor looks
like he's just coming down from the high of playing an integral part in winning the FIBA Europe tournament, and is ready to take on the challenge of the NBA season. Shame.

Along with new headband
Big Ben is rocking his new sneakers.

by onlythebulls on Oct 2, 2007 11:59 AM CDT reply actions

those are the new ones?
those are pretty hot.  I'll probably get me some of those.

by brianmita on Oct 2, 2007 8:17 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah those are the Big Ben's
His sneakers are cool I got myself a red and black pair. The pictures look tight. Joe Smith looks ready to go to war. I am so excited for this season. I will get my late birthday present when we go up for a game in Chicago and I am going to go to a couple in Orlando. Ah these are getting me all excited.

they haven't been
this is our first look at them.

I have a pair of the black and red ones
and the white and black were at the store I will take a picture and show you.

I read in
an article that Pax said Lu and Kirk had both bulked up and it does look like they have. Hopefully Kirk not playing for Team USA this summer will help him this season.

Big Ben
is a freaking monster. When I met him at a promotion for his shoe I was in awe of the sheer size of these guy. He took up 3/4 of the table and was all muscle.

I know that pose
That's the "you take one more picture of me and I just might smack you" pose.  A classic.
Score. Or do not score. There is no clutch.

Big Ben
Is it just me but is Ben Wallace just incapable of smiling? Frankly he looks mean. I wouldn't want be attacking the Bulls paint this season just n the account of him looking so mean.

Wallace gets his way
Foxsports is saying that Big Ben is getting grandfathered in with his headband.  He will wear it this year.
