Around SBN: The Ten Worst Swings Of The 2011 Season

Game 1: Bobcats

7:30 Home game against the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Bobcats are a young team with Okafor and two lottery picks (Sean May and "Everybody loves" Raymond Feltond). A very beatable team that has many similarities to our own a few years back.

The Bulls swept the Bobcats last year in all four games but have had some unfortunate opening night luck the past 8 years (1-7).

Chris Duhon will play tonight but the Bulls will be short Pargo. The Bobcats will be without Center Jake Voskuhl.

One F's pick to click tonight: Luol Deng

To a good year!

First Game
I'm curious what our rotation will be for this first game.  The team seemed like it was out of sync all preseason and I expect that to continue into the early part of the season, unfortunately.  Hopefully we can snag a few wins from lesser quality opponents like tonight to avoid starting the season in our usual bad hole.

Yep

who knows how it will play out but I expect them to try to get Gordon in earlier than he is comfortable with (although he will have to learn to be a better player). We will not see much of captain Duhon due to his sore neck. Lots of Noce in the second and third. But we do need to solidify the rotation a little earlier in the season than last year. Skiles knows who he likes and has kept a lot of the core together so hopefully it will be quicker this year.

With Curry going to NYK the biggest loss, in my opinion, was his ability to get the rest of the team into it in the first quarter. We are going to have to get the "spark" to start this team off. Once the team gets going the players seem to play well. And of course we have a "closer" in Gordon
