What percentage of your shots should 3pt shots
I had a discussion with a few friends, and we talked about, what percentage of a teams' shots should be 3pt shots. A friend of mine said 50%, I thought that was the dumbest statement I ever heard. He said that equals champoinship. The consensus of the group was between 15-20%, what does everybody else think?
Portland Willing to Trade RUDY
Rudy Fernandez: "Portland is willing to make a trade and the truth is I'm pleased they want to do it. Now we have to find a team where I can have an important role or where I can find the dynamics I enjoyed in Portland the first year."

How does a hard salary cap work?
what happens if the NBA goes to a hard salary cap? Could we lose Rose and Noah? How does it work in the NHL?
SunSentinel's Ira Winderman on Wade
Q: Does the outcome of this series have any influence on Wade’s decision to stay or is it all about what Pat Riley does to improve this team that will determine his fate? — Mickey.A: Honestly, I think it’s already essentially decided that he’s staying. The new higher cap positions the Heat to give him just about everything he wants. And he likes living in South Florida, a lot. I do think, though, he might pressure management into a few decisions, including one about Michael Beasley’s future.
I wonder if Micky Arison was the one asking the question?
Anyway, I sort of agree, this playoff failure (so far) will probably impact Beasley more than Wade. But it can't do anything but put doubt in Wade's mind, too.
A chance to get rid of Hinrich's contract
Mike Miller for Kirk and a first round pick. The Wizards are rebuilding and they have no true point guard. They need a point guard if they ever want to be successful. Kirk can pass, shoot, and is a top notch defender. The pick is to soften the blow of taking on his contract. Mike Miller can help the Bulls too. He is a true guard. He is really well rounded. He is a good rebounder, passer, and 3 point shooter. He has has sharp declines in scoring, but its not that he is not capable of putting up 15 points. Its that he is very unselfish, and passes and looks to help more than score.
Classic Question to KC
How was the team's psyche after losing Aaron Gray's for such a long period of time and before preseason even began? We saw the affect Kevin Garnett's absence had on the Celtics last season. Was the team hanging it's head saying "Why us, why now?". One thinHow was the team's psyche after losing Aaron Gray's for such a long period of time and before preseason even began? We saw the affect Kevin Garnett's absence had on the Celtics last season. Was the team hanging it's head saying "Why us, why now?". One thing is for sure...you have to think Gray's absence will test this team's mental fortitude early and often. -- Danka Shane Which one of you is Danka?
Question?
