Chicago Bulls Playoffs coverage on Comcast SportsNet

First Round Coverage Begins this Saturday, April 21 with "Bulls Post Game Live"; Live Coverage of Games 2 & 3

Comcast SportsNet, the exclusive local home of the Bulls Playoffs, has announced its first round NBA Eastern Conference Playoff schedule as the Chicago Bulls face the defending NBA Champion Miami Heat.  Comcast SportsNet will carry live, local coverage of Games 2 & 3 (includes live pre/post game coverage) with the possibility of Games 5-7 if necessary, along with special post-game coverage following Games 1 and 4.

Comcast SportsNet's Bulls playoffs coverage begins this Saturday, April 21 at approx. 4:30pm with an extended edition of Toyota Bulls Post Game Live featuring live locker room interviews, along with head coach Scott Skiles' post-game press conference.  Comcast SportsNet's live, local game coverage begins with Game 2 between the Bulls and Heat on Tuesday, April 24 at 7:00 PM live from the United Center (NOTE: all CSN Bulls playoff home games will be in HD).  Comcast SportsNet will also carry Game 3 on Friday, April 27 live from Miami.  Note the following first round schedule of games and additional coverage information on Comcast SportsNet:

CHICAGO BULLS vs. MIAMI HEAT on COMCAST SPORTSNET

  • Game 1:  Sat, April 21 at approx. 4:30 pm - "Toyota Bulls Post Game Live"
  • Game 2: Tue, April 24, 7:00 pm - Bulls vs. Heat (United Center) in HD
(NOTES: Special Bulls Playoff editions of "Chicago Tribune Live" & "Land Rover SportsNite" begins at 5:30pm; "Bulls Pre-Game Live" - 6:30 pm;  "Toyota Bulls Post Game Live" - approx. 9:30 pm; "Land Rover SportsNite" - 10:00 pm & 12 midnight)

-- IMPORTANT CUBS/WHITE SOX NOTE:  The Cubs vs. Milwaukee game (originally scheduled on CSN at 7pm) will now move to CSN+ (or CLTV in the Chicago market).  The White Sox at Kansas City game (originally scheduled on CSN+ at 7pm) will now move to CSN+2, which can be found on the Total Living Network (TLN).  Viewers are urged to visit www.ComcastSportsNet.com for the exact TLN channel location in their area.

  • Game 5:  Tue, May 1 (Time TBD) - Bulls vs. Heat (United Center)  (if necessary) in HD
-- IMPORTANT CUBS/WHITE SOX NOTE:  If the Bulls-Heat play Game 5, the Cubs at Pittsburgh game (originally scheduled on CSN at 6pm) will now move to CSN+ (or CLTV in the Chicago market).  The White Sox at Seattle game (9pm start) will continue to air on CSN+ and will be joined in progress on CSN following "Bulls Post Game Live".
  • Game 6: Thu, May 3 (Time TBD) - Bulls at Heat (American Airlines Arena) (if necessary)
  • Game 7:  Sat, May 5 (Time TBD) - Bulls vs. Heat (United Center) (if necessary) in HD
For the third-straight playoff season, Comcast SportsNet will carry a live, extended edition of Toyota Bulls Post Game Live featuring studio host Mark Schanowski, along with analysts Kendall Gill and Norm Van Lier, following every Bulls playoff game, including games not televised on Comcast SportsNet.  

Following the post-game show, Land Rover SportsNite will be providing even more Bulls coverage with live reports from the United Center or the opponent's home arena, along with a thorough recap of the other games around the NBA Playoffs.

Comcast SportsNet also boasts the biggest sports coverage team in town for the Bulls opening round series featuring game announcers Tom Dore, Johnny "Red" Kerr & Stacey King, studio host Mark Schanowski, studio analysts Kendall Gill and Norm Van Lier, plus, sideline reporter Luke Stuckmeyer will also provide live locker room interviews on Toyota Bulls Post Game Live and file feature reports for Land Rover SportsNite.  

Viewers can find Comcast SportsNet on Comcast Cable and RCN channel 37, DIRECTV channel 640 and DISH Network channel 429.  Plus, every Bulls home playoff game will be produced in a high-definition format and all HD games will be available on Comcast Cable channel 200, RCN channel 540 and DIRECTV channel 640-HD.  Viewers can visit www.comcastsportsnet.com for the exact channel location of Comcast SportsNet in their area.

Good thing the playoffs are nationally televised
I'm boycotting Comcast until these guys start being funny. Although I'd settle for HD away games, and the game not blacking out every 20 seconds. Ooh, having audio at least 85% of the time would be a nice touch too.
