So the time has finally come, when Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks has opted out of his contract. The three teams that actually have a decent shot at landing him are the Rockets, Bulls and Knicks. If Melo wanted to stay with the Knicks he would have listened to Phil Jackson and played in NY for one more year, so I'd like to believe Melo won't be with the Knicks. The Rockets could work but having Melo + Harden + Howard could create problems; all 3 of them want a lot of touches and tend to not pass the ball, leading to poor ball movement. If you don't think that's important just look at the Spurs right now, beautiful unselfish play by every Spur on the floor.
Guess what destination that leaves? Chi-town! Amnesty Boozer, trade Dunleavy and offer Melo a $17 million 4-year contract? I'd be sold. Where do you guys think Melo will land?
