Broussard: Joakim Reaching out to Carmelo?

I woke up this morning turned on ESPN and seen the headline "Melo to Bulls?" Shortly after watching the topic, I looked around the interwebs to see had anyone else have this report on the internet. My search was to no advail and I had already missed an opportunity to record the report. Fortunately, Sportscenter is basically a rerun the entire morning, so I was able to catch the report on my cell phone.

My first reaction was, it's nice to see someone on the roster step up to attempt to draw in some real talent to Chicago. My second reaction was get Carmelo by all means necessary. Melo, Rose, and Noah > Rose, Mirotic (or Any other player on the Bulls roster) and Noah. What do you guys think?

For those who can't watch the video, my transcript of what was said is as follows:

Noah: "Look, you can go to LA, but if you want to win a ring, and want your legacy to be about winning, come to Chicago."

Melo: "I've been watching you guys. I admire how hard you play. I admire how hungry you are. And oh, my son's favorite player is Derrick Rose."
