Kirk, the Well, and elite basketball

So Kirk Hinrich came out of the well and the Bulls have dominated since. The Bulls have experienced a resurgence of sorts. During the month of December the Bulls witnessed the signing of D.J. Augustin, Marquis Teague seeing extended court time, rumors surrounding a Loul Deng trade and Kirk Hinrich lost somewhere down a well. Also the most horrible stretch of Bulls basketball in the Thibs era.

Then something beautiful happened. Kirk came back and the Bulls record since is 26-13. Grit is a wonderful thing. Props to DJ, and the evolution of our point center. But I think the glue or grit holding it all together belongs to Kirk. I'm absolutely excited to see our Kirk led Bulls in the playoffs. And barring any injuries I'm predicting the Bulls will finish with a better record than last year and will see the conference finals this year as long as we avoid Miami.
