Like many other Bulls fans I am excited to hear that Marquis Teague is looking like he can make major improvements to his game this year. It would be awesome if Teague can do something similar to what Jimmy Butler did a year ago. It would be great to have him develop into a player like say his brother Jeff Teague. If that happens he can become a hell of a back up point guard. Definitely looking forward to seeing him play this upcoming season.
However, the real story line this off-season is about the Bulls starting point guard Derrick Rose. Like many other fans I am ecstatic to get the 24 year old, former MVP back in a Bulls uniform and back to playing on the court. But the question remains how should he come back? Some suggest that Thibs should ease him back into the rotation, put him in the starting rotation but don't play him starter minutes. I disagree. I personally feel that Derrick Rose is confident and ready. Babying him is not going to do him any good. In fact it might make him second guess himself. If he is confident and is fully healthy both physically and mentally, I say play him 30-35 minutes a game and let him dominate. What do you guys think?
