Bulls vs. Heat schedule: Bulls open East semis Monday night in Miami

USA TODAY Sports

Beat the Heat.

A day later, and it still seems almost unfathomable that the banged up Bulls were able to go on the road and win a Game 7 against the Nets. But the Bulls have beaten the odds pretty much all season, and now their toughest test awaits.

LeBron James and the Miami Heat.

The Heat have been chillin' for the last week since easily dispatching the Bucks in four games. The time off has allowed Dwyane Wade's bruised right knee to heal up, as he recently just returned to practice a couple of days ago. The rest of the Heat are healthy, and LeBron was ridiculous as ever against the Bucks, hitting 62.7 percent of his shots.

The Bulls on the other hand are still beat up, and the statuses of Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich remain in doubt. Deng is out of the hospital after having another procedure done to stop leaking spinal fluid (WTF!!!), while Hinrich is working to return from his calf bruise. Hinrich warmed up prior to Saturday's Game 7 victory, but he was unable to play.

The Bulls did beat the Heat twice this season and of course ended the 27-game winning streak, but it will likely take a LeBron injury for a miracle upset in this series. But I don't doubt for one second that the Bulls will bust their ass and make the Heat earn their wins.
