NBA expansion, relocation, realignment and reduced season. My radical plan.

The Kings relocate from Sacramento to Seattle.

The Raptors relocate from Toronto to Cincinnati.

The Pelicans relocate from New Orleans to Saint Louis.

Expansion franchises granted to Pittsburgh and Kansas City.

Eastern Conference:

Atlantic Division: Boston, Brooklyn, New York and Philadelphia.

Northeast Division: Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Washington.

Southeast Division: Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami and Orlando.

Central Division: Chicago, Cincinnati, Indiana and Milwaukee.

Western Conference:

Century Division: Kansas City, Minnesota, Oklahoma City and Saint Louis.

Southwest Division: Dallas, Houston, Memphis and San Antonio.

Northwest Division: Denver, Portland, Seattle and Utah.

Pacific Division: Golden State, L.A.Clippers, L.A.Lakers and Pheonix.

Regular season schedule reduced to 66 games.

3 home + 3 road vs. each team in same divison = 18.

1 home + 1 road vs. each team in other divisions of same conference = 24.

1 home + 1 road vs. half the teams -alternated per season- in other conference = 16.

1 home or road -alternated per season- vs. other half of teams in other conference = 8.

4 division winners -seeded 1 thru 4- play top 4 wild cards -seeded 5 thru 8 -in each conference.

All playoff series reduced to best 3 of 5(first 2 at lower seed, last 3 at higher seed)until NBA Finals, then best 4 of 7(middle 3 at lower seed).

NBA Finals always completed by Memorial Day.
