We owe Rip about $2.5M for this season and $1M to buy him out next. I say buy him out now.

Why? It'd be an actual good thing management would do for a player of Rip's stature. Let him catch on with an actual playoff contender.

We don't need to fill his roster spot, so there's no issue there.

Marco Belinelli continues to shine as a starting SG for us. 20 points and 5 assists against Indy. He can easily make up for Rip's offense. It would also free up significant minutes to play Butler at SG, which is a good thing.

We even have Nate in a pinch, and Daequan Cook, too.
