Before I start my opinion piece/rant, I want people to know that I think Kyrie's a great player who is going to be a superstar for years to come. I respect the kid and enjoy watching him play (except when Kurt Hinrich out-grits him and shuts him down), and he is, without a doubt, one of the best PGs in the game today.
Now let's get to business. ESPN's Chris Palmer is the latest in a line of imbeciles who consider Kyrie to be better than Rose, and this bitch is probably the most annoying one yet.
I remember that this sentiment came up here at BaB a few weeks ago, but it surely needs to be repeated: Tons of people, including many Bulls fans who watched Rose from the day he was drafted, seem to have forgotten how good Derrick Rose is.
This is a guy who took large, spicy shits on every other PG en route to becoming the youngest MVP ever, and even got two unlucky coaches fired (though D-Will is still king in that regard).
I hope Derrick shows Kirk Hinrich-like domination when he returns against Cleveland so the doubters can shut the fuck up. I know he'll play only 20 minutes, but then the king of grit can check in and continue the Hinrichness.
