Hinrich didn't make the trip
I like this strategy when it comes to covering shootaround: dismiss Thibs as the annoying liar he is, and go right to the players. So per KC Johnson, though both players are 'gametime decisions' for tonight's make-up game in Indiana, Carlos Boozer is the one more likely to play tonight, whereas Joakim Noah has set a target return for Thursday.
For a refresher, Boozer has been out since last week with a hamstring injury, and Noah is battling a Plantar Fasciitis flare-up since the weekend. As Bulls By the Horns pointed out (on Twitter), this is very promising news with respect to Noah, given the history of NBA players (and Noah in particular) with this particular injury. And hopefully it is a case of Noah being smarter about shutting down (and restarting) in the wake of this injury, and not any kind of rushing back.
UPDATE: to that last point, here's Noah discussing the differences with this year's foot ailments
