Most of the current roster had been selected during previous coaches:
Scott Skiles (stressed defense) --> Deng and Hinrich
Vinny del Negro (stressed an uptempo offense and had a pg focus) -->Noah, Gibson, Rose, and Boozer
Tom Thibodeau (stresses defense and uses a half court offense) -->JButler, NRobinson, MTeague, MBelinelli, NMohammed, VRadmanovich
Is the current roster suited for defense and a half court offense?
Who on the roster is suited for defense and a half court offense?
Who on the roster is NOT suited for defense and a half court offense?
What positions need a different player?
What assets (tradeable players that other teams want) do the Bulls have to acquire the other players?
Should the Bulls switch coaches for a different style of play?
Would you keep DRose, Coach Thibs, both, or neither?
Food for thought. Bitter Medicine for Foul Play. Go Bulls!Point 2
The Bulls need a "financially flatter" team. The Bulls need to spread the wealth. Chicago's basketball team needs less expensive starters and needs better bench players like last season, 2011-2012. I enjoyed watching last season better than this season, because the team was more balanced (even if DRose plays this season, I still like last year's team more than this year's team). Miami is all about the have's and the have not's: rich players and a cheap bench. The Bulls' roster needs to be more balanced in skill, in salaries, and in starting/bench players. Go Bulls!
