I love him to death. Thibs. He's the epitome of old school. He has a Red Auerbach swagger that reminds me of the old-school days of ball--where the only mentality was team mentality, and graceful passing and setups were the norm not the exception.
But basketball isn't like that nowadays. It's harsher. It's more straining on the body, it seems, because the players are bigger, faster, and more physical.
So is this old-school ball the Bulls have adapted to proper for this modern NBA, or is it perilous?
The season hasn't even started and our injuries are mounting. So when do we reach the point of breaking and begin asking ourselves: is Tommy's way of practice-to-play a little too trying on these bold Bulls?
I have nothing but faith in him...it's our player's bodies that I worry about...
