Chicago Bulls preseason: Joakim Noah 'shut down' with groin injury

Jonathan Daniel

Man...

The Bulls just finished shootaround in preparation for their preseason game against Indiana tonight. And news wasn't good.

Noah had just returned for his first game action of training camp on Wednesday night and played under 20 minutes. He looked fine though he didn't have a FG, with 8 rebounds in that time.

But as we know, these kinds of injuries do recur. Noah first suffered the groin injury in the first week of camp due to a wet spot on the practice floor.

This is especially rough for Noah, who reportedly was feeling really good about addressing the chronic foot issues that plagued him last season.

In other injury (what else?) news, Jimmy Butler may still be out as he didn't complete shootaround, though Derrick Rose is A-OK.
