[From the FanPosts. Good news that discussions are underway. KC Johnson speculated earlier in the week that he thought an extension would happen. Also in Aggrey Sam's report below is the hilariously predictable revelation that Jannero Pargo is hanging around Deerfield. -yfbb]
First I've heard of this.
...it could be power forward Taj Gibson's turn, as the front office has been engaged in discussions surrounding a long-term contract extension.
"It's something we've been talking about for a while," Gibson's agent, Chicago-based Mark Bartelstein, told CSNChicago.com. "Gar and I have been putting a lot of work in.
"Taj would love to be a Bull for a long time, there's no question about that."
Makes sense for the Bulls to lock him up now in my mind. Maybe not a ton of growth left, but if he adds a jumper he's an above average starting PF, and they should be able to get him for a price that makes him a great value in a two or three years if he can add that jumper.
