This is a new minor update on the Bulls cap situation from NBA cap/contracts guru Mark Deeks:
Nate Robinson's contract with the Bulls is not guaranteed.

@bullsblogger It's $400,000 guaranteed becoming fully guaranteed i not waived on or before January 1st.

This was originally reported as a fully guaranteed deal, or at least assumed to be.
Which means that there technically can be at least one training camp battle this year, as if they wanted to sign someone they can waive Robinson to make room. At least I think that's the case, I'll have to do the full roster math to see if the $400k still owed makes it still impossible. They still can't add a 14th rostered player due to the hard cap.
Though Nate may actually provide some bang for the minimum buck he's owed, so I'm not sure we should be excited that he's waiveable.
