Fast forward to trade deadline time.

The Bulls are a .500 team, Luol Deng is playing at a near All-Star level, after forgoing surgery. RIP is playing well averaging about 14/game. Noah has stepped up his game on the offensive end and has become a consistent double-double guy, going for 12 and 13. Taj has shown that he is more than worthy of an extension and added minutes, he's now playing just as many minutes as Boozer. Boozer's scoring and rebounding has dropped as he tried to make up for DRose's absence. Hinrich has been better than expected, think back to DRose's rookie year and that's the type of production we're seeing. Surprisingly, the new Bench Mob is more than adequate, Taj, Robinson, Butler, and Belinelli have all had their moments. DRose is set for a mid-March comeback.

Sacramento is showing promise, but Tyreke at the SF isn't working and JJ is definitely not the answer. They now have an unhappy Evans and hole at SF.

Denver has a playoff contender on their hands and the duo of Iggy and Gallinari are killing. That leaves newly resigned out of the rotation at SF. He's signed for 3 or 4 more years at about $6 mil. They are in need of a vet SG that can fit in Lawson and Miller on the perimeter.

Trade idea:

Chicago sends Luol Deng and future 1st to Sacramento for Tyreke Evans and 2013 1st.

Chicago sends Rip Hamiton and 2013 1st to Denver for Wilson Chandler and 2013 2nd

Do you pull the trigger on 2 deals that make you younger and possibly better long term
